Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Thomas G. Harvey is in his third year of ministry at Cambria Baptist.
He has been pastoring for nearly thirty years, half of that time in Lexington, Virginia.
Prior to Christiansburg, Dr. Harvey served a congregation in Nova Scotia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received a masters and doctorate from Southern Seminary in Louisville. He also served as an infantry training officer in the military. A native of Salem, Virginia, he has served the majority of churches in the Commonwealth. He has also been a part of short-term mission teams to Costa Rica, Brazil, and Bolivia. With experience and interest in a variety of places and events, Dr. Harvey's messages address contemporary issues with Biblical direction. Regardless of the worship moment, the listener is challenged to make a decision as to his or her relationship to Christ and what life changes are expected. Dr. Harvey's favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 53:6.
