Sunday School: Bible Study for All Ages
9:45-10:45 a.m. each Sunday
At Cambria Baptist Church, many of our ministries grow out of Sunday School classes, and we believe that your participation in a class will enrich your connections with our church as a whole. When you visit Cambria, greeters will direct you to the class in which you’re interested. We encourage you to visit several classes and find a class in which you feel challenged to learn and serve.
Children and Youth
Preschool Cambria's Preschool Department reaches out to children in love to teach them about God's love through stories, play, and other activities.
Age Groups
Infants (Birth - 2 years old)
Toddlers (2-3 years old)
Preschool (4-5 years old)
Children (Kindergarten – Grade 5)
The Children's Department teaches children fundamental Biblical concepts through storytelling, crafts, drama, games, and music. Our Children’s Ministry also plans special events throughout the year.
Age Groups
K- Grade 3
Grades 4 – 5
Youth (Grades 6 – 12)
These classes provide middle school and high school students a time for blending fun and worship together. Teachers offer solid, life-related Bible teaching, spiritual counsel, and fellowship. Lessons focus on living a rich Christian life as a teen in today's world. Our Youth Ministry also offers mission and Bible studies for youth on Sunday evenings as well as special activities and opportunities for service throughout the year.
Adults
College Class
Our College Class offers a broad spectrum of worship, learning and ministry opportunities that support the spiritual growth of college students. We encourage students to participate fully in our church by getting to know members of all ages and by assuming roles of responsibility that suit their talents. Our goal is to mentor and develop young adults who will live for Christ with passion and purpose.
Agape
This class explores and enriches members’ faith through discussion-oriented Bible study that applies scripture to daily life. The class welcomes men and women of all ages.
The Lighthouse
This class offers an experience for people who want to deepen their relationship with Christ by learning more about various dimensions and disciplines of the spiritual life. The class engages members in thoughtful interchange on various topics and ideas. This class is for adults of all ages.
Senior Adults
Robert Crawford Class
This is an interactive Bible study class for senior adult men.
Vota Vita/TEL
This women's class is for those 65 and over who love the Lord and enjoy studying His Word. Women are welcome to join this group and share worship and fellowship in the Lord. The class name, Vota Vita, means Word of Light; TEL, the initials of Timothy, Eunice, and Lois, reflects the love and Biblical teaching of two godly women, Eunice and Lois, demonstrated in the life of Timothy.
Dorcas
The women in this class are friendly, loving, caring, and will make you feel very welcome. Each week they have an interesting lesson and study from the Bible. They focus on ministry and try to have at least one special project each month.
Fidelia
This women's class is devoted to the mission of evangelism. They seek to tell others of the love of Jesus and to invite all to follow the Lord. As a class, they pray together, learn together, and seek to grow to be faithful (Fidelia) servants of our Lord. Meeting the special needs of others and providing support and encouragement to each other are the goals that this class diligently works to meet.
